Greensburg - The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., will sponsor "Conserving Our Paper Heritage," about documents, prints, posters and other items at noon Wednesday as part of its Brown Bag Lecture series. • SAT prep, 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Tuesday, Gateway High School, 3000 Gateway Campus Blvd. Cost: $90.

• Crazy Chemworks, for children ages 5-8, 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Tuesday, Ramsey Elementary School, 2200 Ramsey Road. Cost: $72.

• All About Acting, 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning next Thursday, Moss Side Middle School, 9000 Gateway Campus Blvd.

• Italian for beginners, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays beginning next Thursday, Gateway High School. Cost: $55.

CONCERTS

Greensburg - Seton Hill University will sponsor the following performances in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall, on the main floor of the university's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. For more information, call 724-552-2900.

• Kent Camerata from Kent State University, 7:30 p.m. Friday. Ensemble includes alumna Mary Sue Hyatt.

• "Sing and Ring," featuring the Seton Hill University Choir, Women's Chorale and the Handbell Ensemble, 4 p.m. Sunday.

Greensburg - The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will perform "Kudos, Markou!" at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. The repertoire will be Johann Strauss' "Voices of Spring"; Glazunov's "Spring"; Mozart's "Piano Concierto No. 21, featuring Gleb Ivanov; Copland's "Appalachian Spring"; and von Suppe's "Morning, Noon & Night in Vienna." Tickets are $9, $18, $25 and $37. This will be the last concert by music director Kypros Markou. Call 724-837-1850.

Unity - Saint Vincent College, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, will sponsor a performance by flutist Aleksandr Haskin at 8 p.m. March 20 in the Robert S. Carey Performing Arts Center as part of the school's classical music concert series. The cost is $15 per person.

In addition, a "classic evening" concert and dinner package, with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. in the Metten Dining Room, will be available for $40.

FUNDRAISING

Plum - Our Lady of Joy Catholic Parish, 2000 O'Block Road, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Father Marchukonis Hall. The cost is is $7, $3 for children 12 and younger and free for age 2 and younger. Proceeds will benefit a mission in Chimbote, Peru. Call 412-795-4389.

North Versailles - The Friends of the North Versailles Public Library will hold a St. Patrick's Day bingo at 2 p.m. Sunday at the township's Community Center, 1401 Greensburg Ave. The cost is $20. Call 412-823-2222.

Versailles - The Yough Central Model Railroad Club will sponsor a model train show and sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Versailles Volunteer Fire Co., 4919 Third St. The cost is $3 for adults, free for children 10 and younger with one adult admission. LECTURES/SEMINARS

Greensburg - Westmoreland Cultural Trust will present a performance of the Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera "The Pirates of Penzance" at 7:30 p.m. March 19 at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Tickets cost $26 and $38, $13 and $19 respectively for youth 18 and younger. Call 724-836-8000.

Hempfield - The Visual Arts Society at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, 150 Finoli Drive, will sponsor a showing of the film "Gladiator" at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center as part of a series.
