Chinese poet Huang Xiang, once in residency with City of Asylum Pittsburgh, will perform some of his poems at a 5:50 to 8 p.m. reception at the Robert Morris University Media Arts Gallery, 600 Fifth Ave., Downtown (free and public). Opening is "Century Mountain: Expanding Borders, Exploring Humanity," an exhibition of collaborative paintings by Mr. Xiang and American artist William Rock that have received international acclaim.
