The Duquesne Dukes' 2010-11 men's basketball schedule was released this afternoon and it is highlighted by three home games at the CONSOL Energy Center.

The Dukes will host West Virginia (Dec. 12), Atlantic 10 rivals Dayton (Jan. 30) and Xavier (Feb. 13) at the Penguins' home.

Six Duquesne games have already been cleared for television including the West Virginia game (CBS College Sports national), the Dec. 4 game at Penn State (Big Ten Network) and Atlantic 10 games against Temple, Charlotte, at Dayton and at Richmond (CBS College Sports regional syndication).

Duquesne's opening game date and opponent is expected to be announced later this week.

The Dukes tip off the Atlantic 10 season at Saint Joseph's on Jan. 5. The conference home opener will be Jan. 12 against Saint Louis.

"We're really looking forward to playing in both a renovated Palumbo Center as well as what is already one of the great arenas in the country in the CONSOL Energy Center," said Duquesne coach Ron Everhart, who is beginning his fifth season.

"I think our fans will not only be treated to some great new amenities, but they'll also have the opportunity to see some pretty good college basketball. It seems like I say this every year, but this may be our toughest non-conference schedule yet, and the Atlantic 10 - as it proved once again last year - is going to be one of the most competitive conferences in the nation."
